Karashidane (means mustard seed ) is taken from the word of New Testament of the Bible. It refers to a real, very small seed. The Bible says, ” Although it is the smallest of all seeds, yet it grows into the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches. (Matthew 13:31-32)”. Jesus spoke of this as a parable for the Kingdom of Heaven, where the rule of God’s love prevails. We believe these words provide courage and hope for us who aim to realize a welfare society. Our existence and power might be just like this small mustard seed. Yet, every seed has life, and when sown, the process of life begins. How wonderful it would be if a society where each individual can vibrantly live out their given mission (purpose) comes to fruition.
